You may not be familiar with The PEACE Fund yet, but it is a 501(c)3 charity founded by the actor, Adrian Paul (you have seen him star in the Highlander movies and more). The PEACE Fund focuses on supporting charities that make a positive difference in the lives of children living in extraordinarily difficult circumstances. The words Protect, Educate and Aid (Children Everywhere) are the focus of The PEACE Fund's goals.
Since 2006, The PEACE Fund has donated $50,000 for COTA patients who have an emergency need, and I am asking a favor of you and your COTA team...would you take a moment and vote for The PEACE Fund as a favorite charity?
The PEACE Fund is currently in the running for a share of $60,000 being distributed by a company called 'Riceworks' (they make snack foods). Riceworks had 2,800 charity nominations and narrowed the list to 33 finalists. The PEACE Fund will receive at least $1,000, but if they can get into the top 3, it will mean $5,000, and the winner receives $20,000. We are encouraging everyone we know to place a vote for The PEACE Fund.

I can not imagine where our family would be if COTA had not entered our lives when our world went to shambles...take a moment and help them help other families whose children also are in need of organ transplants.
