Easter

Easter Morning.jpg

Savvy could not believe the all of the stuff the Easter Bunny managed to fit into her basket!  Here she is this morning eating Marshmallows for breakfast!!

This week all Savvy wanted was for the Easter bunny to come so she could wear her new pink "Bunny" dress that has been torturing her in the closet all week...and she wanted a basket with 2 eggs!! Well, last night she could not sleep so her BRILLIANT Mami decided to call the Easter Bunny and ask him to tell Savvy to go to sleep so he could visit the house...uhm....I hear..."Papi?"  .... so, I had to explain that Papi KNOWS the Easter bunny...after a VERY LONG and detailed conversation I FINALLY got the phone away from her to learn that not only is the Easter bunny going to bring a basket but he is also bringing toys, dresses, candy AND eggs!  I Will NOT be calling the Easter bunny next year!!! Lucky for us....Tia "Spare Parts" is in town and went shopping with the Easter Bunny this week....and let me tell you she does not believe in Mami's concept of a few plastic eggs in a basket...nope..hence the Mother Load this little Warrior Princess woke up to Easter morning!

Savvy's primos (cousins) came over for Easter breakfast and an Easter Egg hunt...this was a huge hit with them.....I know the Jelly Bean crash for Savvy was harsh...afterall, what goes up and up and UP....must eventually come down (Thank Goodness!).  I really need the picture from my sister's camera...they were all looking towards her! Seriously, these kiddos are ridiculously cute!

And we can't forget to dye the Easter Eggs (Tia "Spare Parts" bought a fancy dancy Easter egg dying machine..it was pretty cool!) ...yup...that would be my daughter with BLUE Lips!  Who knew she could inhale so many blue Marshmallow Peeps in one sitting?  Gotta keep a close eye on this one!

We are beyond grateful for this day ... beyond grateful for a happy little Warrior Princess who couldn't be more excited to sneak some jelly beans after Mami told her "no mas!"...beyond grateful to have her home in her bed after a long sugar filled day.

We know how blessed we are and we are grateful for all of you who continue to check on Savvy's progress...to keep her in your hearts and prayers.  We ask that on this beautiful day that you continue to keep our little friend, Ayanna, in them as well.  She spent Easter in the PICU.  She is fighting and fighting hard- I look forward to inviting her to our home next year and having the girls run around and discover all of the goodies just for  amazing little Warrior Princesses!
