I have not written in a bit because the nasty bug I had really kicked my tush!  Savvy seemed to do the best of us all....until last night...

Well, fortunately by Friday night we seem to be feeling better as a family and then Saturday we actually felt dare I say "normal" which was wonderful because we were able to go and serve dinner at the Ft. Lauderdale Ronald McDonald House...oh....can't tell you how familiar the "zombie" look in the Mami's eyes I met were....

The wonderful thing about the evening were .... I DID NOT COOK...but a dear coworker of my hubby did....heck I even screwed up cutting the brownies so needless to say I cleaned the kitchen....lucky for the residents!  What I did do was listen and meet other families...I referred a family to COTA for they too had a little yellow princesa that is fighting like the Warrior she is...I met an amazing family whose little girl had just been diagnosed with cancer in her eye (the day before) but you know what I remember about Princess Abby ... her running around like a monkey with Dani and Savvy...yeah....3 little princess monkeys running around the kitchen like crazed, happy little girls!  And I truly hope that is what her Mami remembers of the evening.  I know that those are the types of memories that I cherish from our "Jersey vacation house".

So I thought we were out of the woods until last night...or should I say this morning at about 1 a.m.  I heard Savvy screaming but you know that cry/scream that in your core you know something is wrong...I ran so fast upstairs.  She looked like she was choking and wanting to vomit all at the same time...she just needed to calm down.  I think she woke up and could not breathe because her nose was congested and then had phlegm that was caught in her throat...well after a couple of books...some cuddling with Mami and Super Papi in bed and then some loving from Tom Tom our cat she was better and fell back asleep.

Today she has a nasty cold ... that is what it seems like...a slight fever this morning but Tylenol is doing the trick....she is so tickled though because her great aunt (Tia Elluz) sent her some gifts but what she was THRILLED with is her big girl princess panties...(Thank You Tia! XOXO)..so today....I have been wiping snot, cleaning up vomit from the dogs (who ate who knows what?!), printing out coupons for my trip to the "magic" store to buy food, scowered the internet for good deals for my new blog ( http://floridafrugalfamily.blogspot.com/ ) and you know what.....I know it does not seem like it is a very exciting day but I  am happy....if ever a reminder was needed Saturday was a good one...what the parents at the RMHouse wouldn't do to trade places with me today....what I wouldn't do to not have to go back....
