Update: The bridge has been eaten...it was just tooooo much to resist!

So we have our appt for the wellness exam today...you know the one where all of the mami's of the healthy kids get to enjoy....serves me right for typing anything up because this morning Savvy wakes up with a fever.  She is hot and does not want to move and just miserable....this is what is odd...when the nurse took her temp she was borderline...by the time the doctor saw her...she was fine.  I mean fine.  Happy as a clam and excited about a trip to the park I promised her.  He gave her the all clear.  Agreed with Dr. Ponytail that the rash all over her body is probably post viral and it will take a good long time to get out of her system due to her age.

So this is the funny part of our visit....the nurse starts talking in "code".  I have yet to have a cup of liquid gold...just a diet coke in my system and have no clue what she is saying to me.  As I am sitting with the lab tech I realize that she is telling me that they need a blood test for Savvy.  I lost it in laughter....I finally had to tell her that she can tell Savannah what is going to happen that I would RATHER she tell Savannah so she knows what to expect.  So, we get a finger prick blood test and Savvy is like...whatever...is that all you got?  Savvy looked at the nurse ands says, "quick pokey". Guess you had to be there....

"Oh no, I broke the bridge"..."what happened to the jellybean Savvy?"..."I ate it"..."No more eating the bridge"....okay...I lost my train of thought because I just had this discussion with Savvy.  We watched Curious George together and George made a bridge from marshmallows and toothpicks so Savvy wanted to make a bridge too.  We made ours from jellybeans and toothpicks...she is tickled pink with her bridge....she is on the sofa just sitting there holding it waiting to show it to Papi....Papi will not be home for a long while now so I hope she lets me put it up for her....
