I just told Savvy we needed to go upstairs to clean her room and I got, "in 2 minutes Mami"...uhmmm....okay little Miss Sassy Pants...that gives me enough time to update the COTA site. I only have good news to share!! Loving that!!
After being ridiculously cute at the doctor's office (yes..we had to dress up for him ... "Where is my tiara Mami?"...) we got a thumbs up! FINALLY, everything looks good...she is OFFICIALLY DONE with whatever bug she had in her system....wooohooooo!!!
Tomorrow, we are going to join Cindy who ran the Boston Marathon to raise funds for the American Liver Foundation. I have such a wonderful story to share about this run. I actually received an email from a liver mom who ran the Boston Marathon herself (way to Go!). She said she was "stumbling" when she ran into another runner with Savannah's picture on her shirt!!! How cool is that! So during the Boston Marathon Cindy was running wearing Savannah's picture and another runner actually recognized Savannah...I thought this was just one of those "ahhhh" moments that life has!
Kinda like (if you have followed this blog for a while you will remember) when we got on the plane to go to Philly for one of our many CHOP visits and I was talking to the flight attendant about Savvy and her need for a liver transplant....and from the back seat a woman says, "Is that Savannah!"...she had been following Savvy's blog!!
Okay...I digress...I often do so I am sure you are not surprised...
So, tomorrow we will go to Cindy's house to help out with a yardsale for the American Liver Foundation and then going to a company picnic which Savvy is super excited about (we hear there are going to be animals....that is soooooo up Savvy's alley!). Then, Mami will probably pass out while the Warrior Princess and her Super Papi continue to pardeeeee! Yeah...this is the park with the nature trails that Savvy and Super Papi love...the ones where they will find spiders and admire them...fun..fun. I am staying at the picnic!
Speaking of those 2 ridiculous human beings that I adore....yesterday, we went to drop off Super Papi lunch and Savannah proceeds to put her little hand up and tell me "Mami, you stay here and I go with Papi. I be back"...and then proceeds to leave me in the car while she makes her princess walk to his office....all I heard the way back was "Nina...Nina...Nina...and something about bugs..spiders bite but dragon flies don't"....when did this little one become her own person???
Okay...it has been more then 2 minutes so I have to get my little Miss Sassy Pants upstairs to clean her room....
