January 14, 2010 - Sunday Wish trip journal
Submitted by Robert on Thu, 01/14/2010 - 11:00Sunday morning we woke up pretty late and pretty tired! We did not get back to the Villa at GKTW until 3 am after the power outage on the monorail and then Savvy had a hard time staying asleep...she ended up in bed with us because she just kept waking up. Though by the time I rolled out of bed she was ready to head out and see more princesses!

Submitted by Robert on Tue, 01/12/2010 - 14:37I am going to have to do Sunday's Wish trip journal tomorrow...today has just flewn by! Savvy's Abuela stopped by the house today. Savvy had a manicure and princess make-over done in her room which was great because while her Abuela pampered her I got to take a nice LONG hot shower...even got to shave them legs!! WOOOHOOOO!!! I know how excited everyone must be to hear the news!!
So, I have a lot to get done today and the day is almost over!
Oh....I have started a blog just a few days ago but I hope to grow it (nothing to do with Savvy) on the freebies/bargains I have been finding online -
http://floridafrugalfamily.blogspot.com/
I was inspired by the new decade and the bargains I have been finding...we actually purchased a 6 foot Xmas tree at Target last week for 90% off!!! WOOHOOOO!!! I KNOW I am almost as excited about that as I am about shaving my legs....almost....

Submitted by Robert on Mon, 01/11/2010 - 11:07I am going to attempt to write up Saturday evenings Wish trip events but I say attempt because I have a sassy, little, Warrior Princess on the floor next to me playing with her trains and cars. Let's see how much time she gives me before we have a "train emergency" that requires "Mami HELP!".
So head to the Magic Kingdom and straight to Mickey and Minnie Mouse. One can never get too many hugs from THE Mouse family! Then we headed to see the Princesses and the Fairies. I can't post pictures of this until we receive our Photopass CD from Disney. I have ordered it but it has not arrived. I think we were having too much fun that we forgot to take our own pics...we had everything on video.

Submitted by Robert on Fri, 01/08/2010 - 12:42I just put Savvy down for her nap after explaining that she can not take her breasts off...no...we can take your shirt off but your breasts stay on...yeah...I have a lot of conversations during the day as a Mami that I never expected to have! So, I have to finish up our Make-A-Wish trip!
Let's get to Saturday. This was a long day and we actually made it a 2 parter since we knew the park was open late and we would be ending at the Magic Kingdom.
Before even getting to the Gingerbread House to grab some breakfast we stopped off for a horse ride...Savvy was so excited about the "Horsey"..this time she rode by herself!
We had breakfast (as you can see by the picture she had not eaten yet...she is like her Mami on an empty tummy!) and met up with Mayor Clayton.
Last part of the "Wish Day" .... but the trip is not over!
Submitted by Robert on Mon, 01/04/2010 - 15:50So we bundle up after the amazing lunch with the Princesses since it is cold! Guess who we meet leaving Norway? Santa himself...Uhm...Santa...I have been a very good girl....Santa knows!
Oh...LOOOOOOK it is Donald! Savvy likes Donald a lot so we stop to say Hi and take a picture. Savvy had a lot to tell Donald and they hit it off....Donald grabbed Savvy's hand and stole her! Seriously, he left the line where people were waiting to meet him and started strolling through Epcot!
Recycling to benefit Savvy's COTA fund.
Submitted by Robert on Mon, 01/04/2010 - 07:42I thought I would repost this program since many may have received new cell phones during the holidays. You can recycle your old cell phones and old printer cartridges. We keep a box in the garage with old printer cartridges from our personal computer and when we have enough to recycle we send them in. It cost nothing and it is easy. The contact information is below. Savvy's COTA fund will receive the proceeds.
The Recycle for Life Program is an easy way to help Savannah's COTA fund.
COTA recently made some changes to our Recycle for Life program so it is even easier to help.
Make - A - Wish Lunch with the Princesses
Submitted by Robert on Sun, 01/03/2010 - 22:09Could it be true? Are the REAL Disney Princesses here?
Yes, Savvy your eyes do not deceive you .. .they are here. Princess Belle was the SWEETEST princess ever. She took so much time to talk to Savvy and told her that she would get all of her princess friends to stop by her table and meet her...afterall, she was The "Warrior Princess".
There were so people behind us that were not happy with all of the attention that Savvy was getting from Princess Belle and snapped at the Disney castmember because they were waiting for lunch and not dinner...the castmember turned around and told them, "this is a Wish child and she has earned this visit"....so that was it. Princess Belle and Savvy became good friends and took tons of pictures and they even came to the table later on and surprised us with a note from her and her friend, Princess Aurora, with pictures printed for Savvy to take home with her so that she could remember the visit....beyond sweet!

Make-A-Wish - Part 2 of the "Wish" Day
Submitted by Robert on Sun, 12/27/2009 - 19:24We head to the photography studio to take the Princess photos and Savvy was a natural! She loved every minute of it! The photographer said he could spend the day taking pictures of her and you know...Savvy would have been thrilled to spend the day posing!
After the photo session, we leave Downtown Disney and head to Epcot....this is where we are to have lunch with the Princesses!
This smile would stay on Savvy's face all day~she is "So Happy" to use her words.
